Plant Medicine & Psychedelic Integration
Spiritual preparation and integration for profound psychedelic and plant medicine experiences.
A psychedelic experience may last hours.
Its effects on your life may continue for months or years.
Some experiences bring beauty, clarity, forgiveness, connection, or a renewed sense of meaning.
Others are frightening, confusing, overwhelming, or difficult to reconcile with ordinary life.
Many contain both.
The experience ends. Your relationship with what happened continues.
Plant Medicine & Psychedelic Integration gives you a grounded place to prepare for an upcoming experience or to work with what remains afterward.
Sessions are offered virtually.
Before the Experience
Preparation matters.
Once you have made a wholehearted decision to enter a psychedelic or plant medicine experience, even if it is months away, the process has already begun.
Attention shifts, questions arise, and dreams, fears, expectations, synchronicities, relationships, and circumstances may begin to take on new significance.
Preparation gives you space to meet that threshold consciously.
We may work with:
your intention
your expectations
fears or apprehension
your relationship with control
trust
prayer
spiritual readiness
practical support around the experience
what you hope to understand, heal, or encounter
how you want to relate to the Unknown
One of the most useful things I teach in preparation is simple:
No expectation is better than positive expectation.
A positive expectation can still become a demand that the experience unfold in a particular way.
I prefer intention.
I prefer prayer.
I prefer enough trust to enter without requiring the experience to obey the story you wrote for it beforehand.
Preparation helps you become ready to meet what comes.
After the Experience
Integration begins with what actually happened.
You may return with a clear insight that immediately makes sense.
You may return with hundreds of fragments.
You may feel relieved, grateful, frightened, raw, expanded, disoriented, humbled, confused, or changed in a way you cannot yet explain.
You may have encountered:
powerful emotions
forgotten or difficult memories
symbolic or visionary material
mystical states
a sense of death and rebirth
experiences of leaving the body
perceived beings, entities, presences, or intelligences
profound connection with Nature, Spirit, or the Divine
fear, darkness, attack, or a sense that something went wrong
experiences that challenge your previous understanding of reality
insights you understand intellectually but do not yet know how to live
Integration gives the experience somewhere to go.
We talk.
We listen carefully.
We look for what is asking to be understood, accepted, questioned, practiced, changed, forgiven, grieved, or carried forward.
The goal is coherence.
You do not need to turn every difficult experience into a positive lesson.
You do need enough space to develop an honest relationship with what happened.
What Is Psychedelic Integration?
Psychedelic integration is the process of making sense of an experience and allowing what was encountered to become part of your life in a grounded way.
The experience itself may contain insight.
Integration asks what comes next.
What did you see?
What changed?
What remains confusing?
What are you being asked to do differently?
What belongs to the experience itself, and what belongs to the life you returned to?
What needs time?
What needs action?
What deserves further discernment?
Integration may be practical, emotional, spiritual, or all three at once.
My role is to help you stay in relationship with the experience long enough for its meaning to become clearer without forcing it into an explanation too quickly.
When the Experience Is Hard to Explain
Some psychedelic experiences fit easily into familiar language.
Others do not.
You may have encountered a being or presence.
You may have experienced yourself outside your body.
You may have felt that you died.
You may have entered a place that seemed more real than ordinary waking life.
You may believe something spiritually harmful occurred.
You may have experienced a ceremonial or interpersonal situation that felt violating, poorly held, manipulative, or unsafe.
You may simply know that something happened and have no language for it yet.
You can bring those experiences here.
I take spiritual and nonordinary experiences seriously.
I will also help you maintain discernment about what can be known with certainty, what remains interpretation, and what kind of support may actually be needed.
The point is clarity, not fear.
Preparation Is Part of Integration
Preparation and integration belong to the same relationship.
How you enter an experience affects how you meet it.
How you meet it affects what you bring home.
How you work with what comes home affects what the experience becomes in your life.
For that reason, I do not offer psychedelic preparation as a standalone one-time service.
Preparation is offered as part of a larger preparation-and-integration relationship that includes at least one post-experience integration session.
That gives us continuity before and after the experience rather than treating preparation as an isolated conversation.
How I Work
Integration sessions are conversational, spacious, and spiritually grounded.
I listen closely to the experience as you actually describe it.
I help you identify the threads that matter.
I may ask questions, offer spiritual perspective, challenge an interpretation, help you distinguish what is clear from what remains uncertain, or draw attention to something you are overlooking.
When useful, we may also work with mindfulness, guided meditation, or hypnotherapy to help you remain present with material that continues to carry emotional or experiential weight.
I follow what actually needs attention.
There is no requirement to produce a profound revelation by the end of a session. At times, the most important movement is finally being able to say what happened in a place where it can be heard.
What I Can Help You Integrate
You can come for integration after experiences involving substances such as:
psilocybin mushrooms
ayahuasca
DMT
LSD
MDMA
MDA
cannabis
salvia divinorum
other psychedelic or plant medicine experiences
My use of the word medicine is not limited to whether a substance grows from the earth or was synthesized in a laboratory.
For me, the more important question is the relationship in which it was approached and the role the experience has taken in your life.
You do not need to share that language in order to work with me.
Difficult Experiences Deserve Care
A difficult psychedelic experience can continue affecting you long after the acute effects have ended.
You may feel frightened by what you saw.
You may question whether you can trust yourself.
You may struggle to return to ordinary life.
You may feel spiritually shaken.
You may also have experienced harm from another person, facilitator, group, or ceremony.
These situations deserve careful attention.
Psychedelic integration may be the right form of support. If you feel that something spiritually or energetically disruptive remains after the experience, Shamanic Healing may also be appropriate.
There are also situations where the right next step is medical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic, or emergency care. I will tell you when I believe the situation falls outside my scope.
Spiritual Integration Without Forced Meaning
A powerful psychedelic experience can create enormous pressure to explain everything.
People may quickly decide:
“That being was definitely real.”
“That vision told me exactly what I must do.”
“This experience proves my entire worldview.”
Or the opposite:
“It was only a hallucination.”
“None of it means anything.”
You do not have to settle those questions immediately.
Meaning can mature, interpretations can change, and some experiences become clearer through reflection, practice, time, and the life that follows.
Integration gives you room to stay curious without becoming careless with what you conclude.
Your Life Is Where Integration Happens
A psychedelic experience can open a door.
You still have to live what you learned.
Integration may eventually look like:
changing a relationship
setting a boundary
grieving something fully
forgiving someone
asking for forgiveness
beginning a spiritual practice
returning to your body
caring for yourself differently
changing how you work
making a difficult decision
trusting something you already knew
releasing an interpretation that no longer serves you
choosing patience rather than immediate action
The experience may be extraordinary.
Integration happens in ordinary life.
What I Do Not Provide
My role is spiritual preparation and integration.
I do not:
provide psychedelic substances or plant medicines
source or connect clients with substances
recommend where to obtain substances
administer substances
provide individualized dosing instructions
supervise ingestion
facilitate psychedelic ceremonies
provide trip-sitting or acute support during intoxication
provide medical supervision
provide psychotherapy or psychiatric treatment
I also do not require or encourage you to use psychedelics.
Preparation is available only when you have already made that decision independently.
If you are currently intoxicated, in acute danger, experiencing a medical emergency, or unable to maintain your immediate safety, seek appropriate emergency or medical support rather than an integration session.
How This Differs From My Other Offerings
Shamanic Healing
Shamanic Healing is direct spiritual and energetic healing.
It may be relevant when an experience leaves you feeling that something spiritually or energetically disruptive remains and direct healing work is appropriate.
Spiritual Guidance
Spiritual Guidance is a focused one-hour session using the Runes to bring clarity to a question, crossroads, relationship, pattern, decision, or situation.
Spiritual Mentorship
Spiritual Mentorship is a 101-day teacher-student relationship for ongoing spiritual development, practice, discernment, and relationship with Spirit and Life.
Plant Medicine & Psychedelic Integration
This offering is specifically devoted to preparing for and integrating psychedelic and plant medicine experiences.
The experience itself is the center of the work.

First-time clients begin with a consultation before scheduling a Plant Medicine & Psychedelic Integration session.
After the initial consultation, integration sessions may be scheduled individually as needed.

The number of integration sessions depends on the experience and what you need afterward.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
Psychedelic integration is the process of working with what happened during a psychedelic or plant medicine experience after the acute effects have ended.
Integration can involve understanding the experience, exploring its spiritual or emotional significance, discerning what deserves action, and bringing meaningful insights into everyday life.
-
We begin with the experience itself.
You tell me what happened and what remains important, confusing, frightening, moving, or unresolved.
From there, we work through conversation, spiritual guidance, reflection, and—when useful—practices such as mindfulness, guided meditation, or hypnotherapy.
The session is two hours so there is enough room to work without rushing a complex experience.
-
Yes, as part of a preparation-and-integration relationship.
Preparation includes at least one session before the experience and one or more integration sessions afterward.
I do not offer preparation as a standalone service.
-
We work with intention, expectations, fear, openness, prayer, spiritual readiness, and your relationship with the Unknown.
I encourage clients to release rigid expectations and enter with a clear intention rather than trying to dictate what the experience should become.
Preparation may also include general discussion of practical readiness and support, while remaining within my non-medical scope.
-
Yes.
You can bring frightening, confusing, spiritually disturbing, or difficult experiences into integration.
I will help you examine what happened carefully and determine what kind of support makes sense now.
If I believe medical, psychiatric, psychotherapeutic, emergency, or other professional care is needed, I will say so.
-
You can talk about the experience directly.
I take nonordinary and spiritual experiences seriously without requiring an immediate conclusion about exactly what occurred.
We can explore what you experienced, how it affected you, what meaning it carries, and what kind of response is appropriate.
-
You can still integrate it.
Some experiences remain active in a person’s life long after the event itself.
Time does not automatically resolve what was never fully understood or integrated.
-
No.
I do not provide, source, administer, or recommend psychedelic substances, and I do not provide individualized dosing instructions.
-
No.
I do not provide trip-sitting, ceremony facilitation, or acute support while someone is under the influence of a psychedelic substance.
My work takes place before and after the experience.
-
No.
This is spiritual preparation and psychedelic integration with a Shaman and Spiritual Teacher.
It is outside the scope of psychotherapy, psychiatric treatment, and medical care.
-
Yes.
All sessions are virtual.
You can participate from a private location where you have enough time and space to speak openly and remain present with the work.
The Experience May Be Over. The Work May Not Be.
You may have come home with an answer.
You may have come home with more questions.
You may feel blessed by what happened.
You may wish it had never happened at all.
Wherever you are, you do not have to rush to make the experience tidy.
We can begin with what happened.
Then we listen for what comes next.
